Comex is a licensed asbestos specialist for asbestos sampling, surveys & removal. We (in accordance with the New Zealand Best Practice Guidelines of removal and tests from the NZDAA) carry out authoritative asbestos surveys of all sizes & types of buildings, including domestic, commercial & industrial units that meet the requirements of the regulations, satisfying specific client needs.
Building on our long-standing reputation for high quality, our experienced CoC trained personnel offer an exacting standard of workmanship that meets the requirements of today’s client. Comex is fully licensed by Work Safe New Zealand for the safe removal of all asbestos materials, and has the resources & staff in place to manage any asbestos survey, through to removal and final, safe, disposal.
We operate nationwide around New Zealand. All jobs further afield are considered.
Experience
John has 40years experience with in the construction industry spanning all over the world. His experience branches from major construction builds, demolition to the specialist removal of hazardous materials from large projects.
One of JK’s most recognised and accomplished projects spans from the 2011 Earthquake damaged building from Christchurch – The Grand Chancellor Hotel. This project is recognised as the most difficult and largest by height demolition ever undertaken in New Zealand. And through JK’s knowledge of project managing / Engineering the deconstruction he accomplished one of the most historic projects ever undertaken in New Zealand.
JK has site management, site safety, management and team structuring systems to suit any situation within any industry.
